I was born and raised in Oklahoma, and this state has always been my home. My family's roots stretch across Ardmore, Boley, Wewoka, and the historic Greenwood District, with ties to both the Chickasaw and Muscogee (Creek) Nations. Those connections have instilled in me a deep appreciation for community, resilience, and service.

After spending my early years in northeast Oklahoma, my family moved to Moore in 1992. I attended schools throughout Moore and south Oklahoma City before graduating from Westmoore High School in 2001.

Education has always been important to me. I earned my Associate's Degree in Psychology from Oklahoma City Community College, completed my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology after attending both the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma, and later earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma.

Today, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and own a counseling practice in Oklahoma City, where I help individuals and families navigate life's challenges. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I served as an elementary school counselor in Mid-Del Public Schools, helping students through one of the most difficult periods in recent history. I also work at Tinker Air Force Base as a contractor providing therapy and resources to civilian employees.

Family is at the center of everything I do. My husband, also a Westmoore graduate, works as a Department of Defense civilian at Tinker Air Force Base. Together we're raising two wonderful children who are active in school activities throughout Moore. Whether it's cheering from the stands, volunteering with booster clubs, or serving as a Girl Scout troop leader for my daughter's troop, I believe investing in our children strengthens our entire community.

My family also attends People's Church in Midwest City, where I serve on the Growth Track teaching team.

Southwest Oklahoma City and Moore aren't just where I live—they're where I've built my career, raised my family, and dedicated my life to serving others. That's why I'm running: to ensure our community continues to grow, thrive, and remain a place where every family has the opportunity to succeed.
